Upper house with Stupa

In accordance with our tradition, Bodhinyanarama is supported entirely by freewill donations of food, money, and energy. No charge is made for teachings, accommodation, or other activities offered by the monastery.

The main meal and other requisites for the monastic residents are provided each day by devoted monastery supporters. If you wish to participate, please contact the organisers or come along at meal time (10:30 am). If you would like to contribute some food offerings, you can read the current Dana list to find out which items are particularly needed.

The steward of the monastery is the Wellington Theravada Buddhist Association Inc. (WTBA), a registered charity comprised of a committee of lay volunteers. Financial donations may be sent to the monastery treasurer (c/o the monastery; cheques payable to “WTBA”), paid into the monastery account, or placed in the donation box at the monastery.

Standing orders can also be arranged: please contact the WTBA treasurer.

If you are making online donations, please send us your full address for acknowledgement and request for a receipt (see Contact Us).
